Membership is free to welcome those of little means, but increased funds further campaigning

Last year's accounts are now available on our new website so it is the time of year when I ask you to make whatever contribution you can to fund TAP
It is now absolutely essential that we move towards raising enough money every year to pay a full time, well informed member of staff plus necessary expenses. I am doing the job for my pension taking basic expenses from TAP.
I am 84 and fit but but TAP must pay a member of staff if it is to continue to have a politically independent presence in the political arena.
We are a force for those of us who see the link between fair taxation and establishing a minimum income for health living and an affordable home for the employed and unemployed in a market economy.
TAP is not a political party. Our role is to be informative about life on the lowest incomes and of individuals and families living in unaffordable homes in the UK and to propose to all political parties practical polices in the public and private sectors to end the current misery.
We chose to be a not for profit company and not to be a charity; so we are free to say what needs to be said without the interference of the Charity Commission.
It seems to me that we have established a demand for our work with 16,330 "likes" on our Facebook page so far.
Membership is free so all those hit by impossibly low incomes and and living in unaffordable homes can join.
It is now possible to sign up as members for our email list on the TAP website using the "JOIN" panel without contributing funds and to fund us without joining. Some people prefer to follow on twitter and Facebook but not on email.
Those of us who can afford to fund TAP are supporting those who cannot. We need to raise £50,000 a year.
