The Portcullis House meeting against forced adoptions in the UK and US(1) has been made more urgent by last week's Queen's Speech that sets out Conservative Government agenda for the UK Parliament. 

Community Care magazine reports: "The [Children and Social Work Bill] ... gives prospective adopters whom the child is placed with will be given the same rights as birth parents in care proceedings...."(2)
