Wembley Matters blogger Martin Francis reports that all three LB Brent MPs — Dawn Butler (Brent Central), Tulip Siddiq (Hampstead & Kilburn) and Barry Gardiner (Brent North) support Jeremy Corbyn's continued leadership of the Labour Party. For more information on this — especially Dawn Butler's "possible get out clause for the future," — go to http://wembleymatters.blogspot.co.uk/2016/07/brent-central-labour-party-gc-backs.html (1)
The Camden New Journal states that there are 15 prominent Camden Labour councillors calling for Corbyn to stand down. (2) Kilburn Unemployed members are largely at a loss as to what those Labour councillors have ever done to support poor people's right to stay in LB Camden and get better with good services.
How do Brent's Labour councillors stand in regard to Jeremy's leadership?

ReplyDelete"... It is really good that Dawn Butler defeated Tony 'Benefit thieves will have to learn that they will not get away with it' McNulty who announced his candidacy for the Brent Central seat selection in 2013. ..."
To which Philip Grant responded, "I agree that Brent Central is better off with Dawn Butler as its MP than it would have been with the disgraced former Harrow East MP, Tony McNulty, who probably thought it would be a 'safe seat' to stand for, as his wife was the Returning Officer!"
